Tropical vacation packing list

Heading over to an exotic destination? Take a look at the tropical vacation packing list we have put together for you. Get ready, pack your bags and make sure you do not miss out on anything. Enjoy your vacay!

What to pack for a tropical vacation?

Not sure what to bring with you on a holiday? This blog will show you a packing list for your next Florida and Mexico vacation, amongst others. What’s worse than having to purchase expensive items at your destination? Not anymore!

Tropical clothing

Of course you have to pack your appropriate clothing for your next trip. You could think of T-shirts, shorts, pajamas, bathing suits, dresses, tank tops, sneakers, slippers, and jeans. The following accessories should also be on your tropical vacation packing list:

  • Sunglasses
  • Sun hat
  • Belt
  • Wristbands
  • Earrings
  • Watch

Proper sunscreen

Do not let a horrible sunburn ruin your holiday, at least because it is very bad for your skin. Therefore, make sure you pack the right sunscreen. We all desire a tanned skin, though it should not hurt after all. Purchase a sunscreen with the appropriate protection, and which does not harm the sealife.

Waterproof bag

Planning to have a beach day? Or a day on the water? Bring your waterproof bag with you, just in case. You will find them in all kinds of sizes. Small waterproof bags are ideal to put your belongings in. By doing so, you make sure your towel, clothing, and phone remain dry during a boat trip, for example. Another one for your tropical vacation packing list!

Underwater camera

Take wonderful underwater photos which you can share with your family and friends. When vacationing at a tropical destination, you sure want to check out the maritime life. Make memories for yours to come.

Universal adapter

Some destinations have different adapters than the ones you might be used to. Bring a universal adapter with you so you can charge your phone, laptop, and tablet at all times. A universal adapter works very easily, it converts the adapter at the wall to your preferred adapter.

Cash is king

Cash makes traveling way easier, especially in less known parts of the world. By bringing cash, you have nothing to worry about, like a declining card or getting fined. It also makes it easier to purchase items in smaller towns where ATMs may not be apparent. You never know!

Bug spray or bands

The most beautiful destinations often have downsides too, all kinds of insects. Make sure you put bug spray or bug bands on your tropical vacation packing list. Obviously you know what bug spray entails, bug bands are lesser known. You just put them on your wrist or ankle and it lasts for a few days. They are ideal to keep the stingy mosquitos away.

Most important on your packing list: documents

Your tropical vacation packing list is not complete without documents. Bring your passport, ID, and other related documents with you. You could think of the travel itinerary, a boarding pass, and information about your accommodation. Nowadays, a lot of these can also be saved online. If you want to be sure, bring the paperback version with you during your trip.
